2010 Military Family Day at State Capitol

      On April 27th, the Baton Rouge Pipes and Drums were honored to be asked to participate in the 2010 Military Family Day at the Louisiana State Capitol.  This annual recongition of La. Fallen Heroes began with a balloon launch on the capitol steps while the band played 'Going Home'.  Later the band played 'Amazing Grace' on the Senate Platform while the senators comforted family members.  Thanks to all for the great turnout of band members and guests; we once again received many well-deserved compliments.  Hope you were able to see us on WAFB News!   Check out the photos of the band in front of the capitol.  Awesome!
