The Highlander - once again

2011 - For the 4th year, the band entertained the crowds at the Highlander Golf Tourney at CCLA.  On May 14th, a cold front came in town just in time to make the weather perfect.  Coincidentally, that was the same comment we heard from the tourney director in reference to our band.  We agree!!  We did have a large turnout with many new members making a wonderful debut. It was great and we will see you all again soon.

2010 -    The Baton Rouge Pipes and Drums once again performed fabulously at the annual Country Club of Louisiana Highlander Golf Tourney.  This prestigious tournament was held the evening of May 1st on the rolling hills in South Baton Rouge.  Despite the gray skies the crowds were festive and appreciative.  Our pipe major, Bob Cargo starred in the solo feature around the fountain followed by the band's signature duet of Amazing Grace and the Saints Go Marching In.  Our band marched in a new formation very successfully and it is always so nice to have such immediate positive feedback from our many fans.   Still Free and Independent!
